    My Story

    I've never been an athlete, or trained Hollywood celebrities. I'm a just a Mom of four, and for the past thirty years, have dedicated my life to helping extra-ordinary "ordinary" people feel better about themselves through exercise, mindfulness and appropriate nutrition. I'm a Certified Personal Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor and Nutrition Coach.  I've worked with all types of "regular" folks and led classes in in many different parts of Canada and the U.S. as well as Barbados where I'm from originally. I absolutely love sharing what I've learned with others - it's awesome to see people achieve the results they've always wanted especially with respect to health. It impacts all aspects of life.

     

    In September 2015 I gave up paid one-on-one training, and teaching in the clubs, to reach more people via YouTube. My goal was to provide free workouts to anyone and everyone looking for challenging but doable workouts.  The kind that leave you just a bit sore but not limping around for two days. Ones that get results without a huge time commitment. Workouts that make you feel successful, not uncoordinated.

     

    It is my pleasure to share my love of movement and knowledge of what works and what doesn't in terms of achieving your fitness and health goals. Especially as we age.  We cannot turn the clock back to when we were twenty, but we can achieve "feeling better, fitter and

    stronger", one day at a time. Absolutely.

     

    This blog is the place I let you in on my workout and nutrition "aha secrets".  Yes, you can be fit and lean and strong no matter your age.  You can move with energy, pain-free joints and bodyparts that last you a lifetime.

     

    I also want to help you find balance in your life. And by that I mean enjoying the deliciousness that life has to offer without sabotaging all of your fitness driven efforts. Live with passion not perfection. Life is short.  Enjoy it!
